Appeals & Content Removal Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This Policy explains how a person who appears in content on innrcirql can request that the content be removed, how we review those requests, and what to do if you disagree with our decision. This Policy is separate from copyright takedowns, which are governed by our DMCA Policy.
1. Who Can Use This Policy
You can use this Policy if you:
- Are depicted in content on innrcirql and did not consent to the content being created, published, or distributed; or
- Are depicted in content on innrcirql and have since withdrawn your consent; or
- Believe the content violates your right of publicity, privacy, or other personal rights under applicable law; or
- Are the parent or legal guardian of a person depicted in the content and that person is under 18.
If you believe the content depicts a minor or is otherwise child sexual abuse material (CSAM), please email [email protected] immediately rather than using this Policy. We investigate all such reports without delay and report them to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement where required.
2. How to File a Removal Request
Send an email to one of the following addresses:
- General removal requests: [email protected]
- Urgent safety concerns: [email protected]
Please include:
- Your full legal name and a contact email address.
- A direct link (URL) to each piece of content you are asking us to remove. Screenshots help, but a URL is required.
- A statement that you are the person depicted (or the parent or legal guardian of the person depicted) and that you did not consent, or have withdrawn your consent, to the content being on the Platform.
- A government-issued photo identification document so we can verify your identity. We store this securely in our private records system and use it only to verify your request.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Submitting a false removal request — for example, asking us to remove content of someone you are not — may expose you to civil liability and will result in the rejection of future requests from your account.
3. What We Do When We Receive a Request
- Acknowledgement (2 business days): we confirm receipt and assign a reference number.
- Identity verification (5 business days): we verify the identification document you provided against the depicted person to confirm the request is legitimate.
- Provisional removal: once we are reasonably satisfied you are the depicted person, we will provisionally remove or geo-restrict the content while we complete review. Content involving credible claims of non-consent is removed immediately upon verification.
- Notice to the uploading Creator: we inform the Creator that a removal request has been filed and give them the opportunity to provide a signed written release proving consent. They have 7 business days to respond.
- Decision: we issue a final decision in writing within 5 business days of receiving the Creator's response (or 5 business days after the response deadline passes if they do not respond).
4. If We Approve Your Request
The content is permanently removed from the Platform. We also:
- Remove backups and CDN copies on a best-effort basis within 30 days.
- Flag the uploading Creator's account. Repeated confirmed removals result in account termination.
- Add a content hash (where technically feasible) to prevent re-upload of the same file.
- Retain a record of the request and our review for at least seven (7) years to meet our recordkeeping obligations.
5. If We Reject Your Request
We will explain in writing why we rejected the request. The most common reasons are:
- The Creator produced a signed, dated written release confirming you consented to the content.
- We could not verify that the person depicted in the content is you.
- The request appears to have been made in bad faith (for example, to harass the uploader).
6. Independent Third-Party Review
If we reject your request and you disagree with our decision, you have the right to ask for the dispute to be resolved by a neutral third party. We commit to:
- Refer the dispute to a mutually agreed independent reviewer (or, if you and we cannot agree on a reviewer, to one selected by the American Arbitration Association) within 15 business days of your request.
- Pay the cost of the neutral reviewer, including any arbitration filing fees and the reviewer's professional fees. Resolution of the disagreement before a neutral body will be done at innrcirql's expense. You remain responsible for your own attorneys' fees and any costs you choose to incur in preparing your own materials.
- Provide the reviewer with our full record of the request, including the Creator's response and any release they produced.
- Cooperate in good faith with the review and abide by its outcome unless doing so would conflict with applicable law.
While third-party review is pending, content that was provisionally removed remains removed. Content that was kept up after our initial review may be provisionally removed again at the reviewer's discretion.
7. Right of Publicity & Personality Rights
Many jurisdictions recognize a right of publicity, image rights, or analogous personality rights that allow a person to control commercial use of their likeness even where they originally consented to recording. Removal requests based on these rights are governed by this Policy.
